Accommodation
The woodland cabins feature two bedrooms plus a spacious open plan kitchen and lounge area. In the majority of lodges there's also a large conservatory which extends from the living room offering additional dining space and delightful woodland views.
There's also a few one bedroom apartments on this resort, perfect for couples or young families needing a little less space.
All kitchens are well equipped including a cooker, microwave and fridge as standard and the living areas all include a TV and a sofa bed should additional guests wish to stay. All lodges also have Wi-Fi.

This apartment features a double bedroom, one bathroom, open plan kitchen, dining and living space and a sofa bed in the lounge area.
Two Bedroom Cabin Sleeps 6
These cosy cabins feature one double bedroom, one bedroom with single bed and single pull out trundle (or twin beds) plus double sofa bed in the lounge area. The living area comprises a spacious open plan living and kitchen area with dining area within the large conservatory.
Eat & Drink
Located centrally within the resort you'll find The Stag Lounge Bar. Offering a great value menu full of freshly made family favourites and a fully stocked bar we invite all residents and non-residents to join us for a Scottish dram or a hearty bite to eat.
Our menu changes seasonally but you can expect classics such as sausage and mash, fish and chips, a choice of burgers, stir fries and omelettes with prices averaging around £8 to £10 per main course. There's also a kids menu and a choice of starters and desserts for those who've worked up a bigger appetite in the Cairngorms!

Health & Leisure
The resort has a small swimming pool and gym which are free for guests to enjoy during their stay. There's also a steam room and sauna to help you unwind after an adventurous day exploring.
Children will love the adventure play area, activity room, basketball court, tennis court and pool table.
The resort's lochan is also available for seasonal trout fishing (licence required) and any golfers staying in the resort get preferential rates at Macdonald Spey Valley Championship Golf Course in Aviemore.
Local Area
Located within the Cairngorms National Park this resort is only 20 minutes from the tourist centre of Aviemore, the UK‘s largest winter sports area, and only thirty minutes from the Highland capital Inverness and the stunning Moray Firth Coast. This stretch of coast is not only popular for its beaches but a well known location for spotting dolphins and viewing the Northern Lights.
Nearby attractions include the Cairn Gorm mountain, and Landmark Forest Adventure Park which is less than a 5 minute drive from the resort and features thrilling rides and fun activities for kids of all ages (big and small!). Other attractions include the beautiful Loch Morlich with its famous sandy beaches, Strathspey Steam Railway, Rothiemurchus Estate, Highland Wildlife Park and the Highland Folk Museum. For whisky lovers there's a number of fabulous local distilleries to visit (and sample!), take a look at the famous Malt Whisky Trail that starts near here.
There's also Macdonald Aviemore Resort just a few miles away in the centre of town. Here you'll find the Spey Valley Cinema, Aviemore Activity Centre and wonderful outdoor play area - perfect for families.
