The Spa at the Macdonald Plas Talgarth Resort located at the southern tip of the Snowdonia National Park, picked up the prize for the 'Spa of the Year' at the Welsh Hair & Beauty Awards 2016, held in the Mercure Holland House Hotel in the City of Cardiff.
The glamorous night lived up to its promise of being the biggest and most memorable event in the Welsh hair and beauty industry, with a range of awards presented to the most deserving professionals and businesses within the industry.
Having first received two finalist nominations for ‘Spa of the Year’ and 'Masseuse of the Year', the Macdonald Resort fought off tough competition from Peterstone Court Hotel & Spa, Great Escape and The Spa at the Lake Country House to name a few, going on to win the 'Spa of the Year' Award for the Mid-Wales region. Following the announcement, Spa Manager, Faye Evans commented:
"We're delighted to have been awarded such an accolade. Our Spa Team continue to deliver such a high performance, both in terms of customer service and treatment performance. To be recognised and receive this award means that our hard work is continuing to provide a wonderful experience for our guests".
